Want to get a jump on the Holiday Season? Well why not come out early and pick out your Monterrey Pine tree for the best
selection? We will be open on November 19 & 20, 2010, from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., the weekend before Thanksgiving,
for your convenience.
This is how it works. Upon arrival, check in with the clerk in the Gift Shop. The clerk will give you a Red SOLD tag, and an indelible marker. Please
write your name and phone number, on the top portion of the Red SOLD tag, and return marker. After you do that, the clerk
will give you a security tie to attach the SOLD tag to the tree of your choice. Go find your tree! The clerk should be able to give
you a good idea where what sizes are growing.
Once you have found Your Tree, attach the Red Sold tag to the tree using the security tie. This prevents unscrupulous people from taking your tag off and putting theirs on. Bring the bottom portions of both the White tag and the Red SOLD tags back to the Gift Shop. The cashier will ring up your tree purchase.
If you have accidentally torn off a white tag, change your mind or find one not attached, please return it to the box on the door of the Gift Shop, so that we may re-attach it to the tree. We do appreciate the courtesy. : - )
The cashier will staple your receipt to the bottom portion of the Red SOLD tag. DO NOT LOOSE THE RED TAG, we use it to find your tree when you want to take it home.
We do give Active, Reserve, and Retired Military a 10 % discount with their I. D. It's the least we can do to thank them for their Service to our Country. : - )
After Thanksgiving you may also reserve the fir trees, when they arrive.
PICKING UP YOUR RESERVED TREE:

of our cutters or helpers. You do not have to bring your own saw. The cutter will have a saw and assist you in cutting down your tree if
requested, after making sure it is the right tree. Once the tree is cut down, our helper will assist in carrying the tree up to the
cleaning area. LiL' Shakee is a machine we use to remove the dead needles from all the trees. It may not get them all, but it
does get most of them, and you don't have to take them home. Sometimes as the tree is dancing around on Lil' Shakee a birds'
nest will come flying out. That's good luck! : - )
They will also help you attach the tree to the car.

JUST BUYING A TREE AND TAKING IT HOME THAT DAY:
Go find a tree you like! It doesn't matter if it is a Pine or a Fir. Please make sure it does not have a Red SOLD tag or is missing
the bottom portion of the White price tag. We can't sell those trees missing the White tags until we have checked and made sure
it is not on the SOLD list. Feel free to write down the # on the tag, and we'll do our best to find the missing portion of the tag.
(It slows things down, but it happens sometimes.)
The pre-Cut Fir Trees from Oregon, are placed behind the gift shop in water bowl Stands
Once you bring the bottom portion of the White tag to the Gift Shop, the clerk will have you pay for the tree, then send a cutter
or helper for the firs, out to help you bring it in, clean it and attach it to your vehicle.
If you need a tree stand or want to have your tree baled, please let the helper know. Tree Baling (using a red & white netting), costs $3.00/tree, and water bowl tree stands sell for $12.00 each. See photos below.
There is no charge for the tree cleaning or the drilling (our stands have a spike in the center to hold the tree up straight, so a
hole needs to be drilled for the spike.)
If you'd like to have your tree flocked, we charge $5.00/foot, to flock the tree. It will take several hours for the flocking to dry
and set, so you need to let us know as soon as you can. White flocking available only.
Fire Retardant is available at $5/foot. (Applicators permit number available upon request.)
Fresh green wreaths are made on the property using a variety of greens, and sell for $20.00-25.00 each. They are sold undecorated,
unless decorations are requested. Decorations are subject to extra fees, depending on what decorations are used.
Tree Delivery is available in the City of Menifee for a $25.00 fee. Our driver will assist you in getting the tree placed where you
want it.
The Gift Shop carries Christmas Tree supplies, vintage jewelry and collectible items as well. If you like cool vintage things, well,
you never know what you'll find. : - )
Santa will be visiting the farm, on a date yet to be determined.
